In my first solo episode of the year, I share thanks to YOU — my amazing listener. And reveal what you can expect from The Grown-Ass Woman’s Guide in 2022.

One of the things I do love to do in a new year is come up with a word (or words) that really encompass where I want to go during the year ahead.

2020 = CONNECT (ironic, isn’t it?)
2021 = CURIOSITY (when we come from a place of curiosity, there’s less judgment of each other and ourselves

In 2022, my friend Marion was talking about how she was doing three words and I really loved the ideas.  I did a little journaling and meditation and my three words popped into my head.

ALIGN I don’t want to be that person who just throws things against the wall to see if they stick or works with people or takes opportunities because they bring in income, but don’t feel good. I want to do things that align with who I am right now and where I want to be, and so align is a really, really strong, positive word for me.

SIMPLIFY There’s so much noise out there. There are so many things we could be doing. I don’t want to spend a ton of time doing  just for the sake of doing. Once I have aligned myself to what I want to do, I then want to simplify the steps.  I’m doing those things that “move the needle” bring results.

SPARKLE Oh, my gosh, it’s such a 12 year old girl word, Isn’t it? But I love it so much. I’m done dimming my sparkle for those who might think I’m extra or too much.

I would love to hear what your word or words are for this year. Email me!

Me + You in ’22

I have so many plans for the Grown-Ass Woman’s Guide in 2022. Yes, there will be a book at some point, as well as so many more episodes to help you step even more fully into your grown-ass woman self. Plus, more events. I can’t wait until we are live and in person again. Until we can do that, I’ll be hosting some virtual events very soon. Stay tuned.

Another thing I’ll be doing this year is more coaching. If you have never been part of one of my group programs or worked with me one-on-one, you might not even know that I do coaching.

I started as solely a creative coach. I would work with women who wanted to launch a podcast or a YouTube channel or a brand, and we would create together. I’ve worked with women who continue to blow my mind every single day; but one of the things that I noticed, no matter how high profile or beginner status my client might be, we all struggle with the same things. We second guess ourselves! We know we want to do something bigger and better with our lives, but we’re so afraid to put ourselves out there.

The most important work I do is seeing the magic inside someone and help her to pull it out and share it with the world. We create a plan. Follow that plan. And see results. I am a firm believer in the MAC method (get it, MAC?): Mindset, Accountability and Community

I’ve shifted away from solely creative coaching into working with women who are going through a transition in some way. Let’s be honest, we’re all going through a transition; career, family, home, relationships… all of it is happening for so many of us right now. I’m going through my own transitions, too, and the best part is I get to grow right along with my clients. I don’t feel the need to be some guru who has it all figured out, who has some blueprint you have to follow in order for you to be successful. The answers are within you. I just provide you the space and structure to find them.

So this year, I will be creating more small groups and working with even more women. It’s all about being intentional and purposeful, the days of the hustle are over. If you’re ready to small, consistent steps toward doing and being exactly who you want to be, email me!

It is time for us to come together. two. Lift each other up and to help each other see what we are fully capable of as grown-ass women. I’m excited to see what you do this year. Be sure to join me in our free community so we can keep the convo going!
