I find that women have a bad habit of beating themselves up. They proverbially take the baseball bat and beat themselves up if they’re not happy with themselves. And what that actually does is it lowers your self esteem, impacts your ability to be motivated, and it will ultimately impact your overall happiness. So the important thing to do is to tell yourself, okay, I don’t like what I did, make the necessary changes so you don’t do it again, and then focus on moving forward with your life.
